Emma Cockbill- Senior Programme Manager
Emma is a freelance musician, educator and workshop leader having studied music at Emmanuel College, Cambridge where she specialised in performance, music psychology and music education. With 25 years experience in music education and a wealth of experience in psychology, mental health and well-being, Emma has an overall view of all our projects.
Gina Baker - Senior Project Leader
As a Vocalist, Teacher and Community Musician, Gina is a promoter of accessible music for everyone and works for multiple music making charities and organisations. Gina is a classically trained singer and teacher with particular expertise in community music and best pedagogical practises. Gina has led vocal workshops in various settings including prisons, hospitals and offices and has a strong interest in music and health.
Rowan Bendall - Operational Manager
Having flown aeroplanes for the last 20 years, and finding herself made redundant at the beginning of the pandemic, Rowan has returned to her roots as a musician and educator. She divides her time between teaching at a specialist music school, freelancing as a facilitator; trainer; orchestrator and arranger; wellbeing and personal development coach, project manager, administrator, audio engineer, and licensed young performer chaperone, pretty much all of which she does for Apollo!
Emily Stamoulis - Project Leader
Emily has more than 20 years of experience in the Music industry. She studied Music at Magdalen College, Oxford, where she founded the Magdalen College Swing Band, and began her love for jazz. She now teaches Music at a grammar school and privately, is an ABRSM examiner, and a church organist. Emily is an experienced conductor and is very excited to be a part of the wider Apollo family and looks forward to seeing the positive influence jazz can have on young people in north Birmingham.
Will Joseph - Music and Performing Arts Leader
Will works across both the classical and pop music worlds as a creative performer and composer. He is a broad experience as a workshop facilitator and conductor across both music and performing arts and loves working with young people and adults alike in community music making.
Rosie Thomas - Health in Harmony Mentor
Rosie joined Health in Harmony in the first cohort of students and has gained so much experience that she is now helping us run the project and train future Music Leaders. Rosie is a fabulous musician and leader.
